Christine Wilkinson - Fragments of Wild series

Following a successful showing at Photo London 2021, we are pleased to launch two new series of works by Christine Wilkinson. 

The first series 'Fragments of Wild' is a series of 6 large scale abstract works on paper which began in 2014 with a nondescript photograph.The idea was to abstract/recycle/disintegrate the image incrementally over time until it bore no resemblance to the original photograph. 

Along the way different and distinct strands developed in this series to highlight  the process of disintegration ... pixels visible and crumbling, colours delicate and ethereal.
