The Post Office Tower - now known as the BT Tower - is an iconic structure in the centre of London's Fitzrovia. Built in the 1960's it stood for the future, an optimistic time.
Artist Christine Wilkinson awoke one day in her flat near to Tottenham Court Road and documented her own unique perspective at that moment in time as the tower faded in and out of the London mist. To the artist, the Tower represents a beacon - wherever you are in central London, if you can see the tower then you know where you are.
Assembled as a stand alone artwork, the photographs have also been featured in the book by Colin Pink 'Ode to the Post Office'. Christine has played with the colours to create a collection.
These fine art limited prints are of editions of only 12.
